Russell Foster's circadian neuroscientist: It examines the sleep cycles of the brain and asks a question: What do we know about sleep? As it turns out, not so much, and yet we spend a third of our lives. In this presentation, Foster presents us with three common theories about the reason for sleep before, dispels myths about the amount of sleep depending on their age group - and suggests a couple of bold new applications of sleep as an indicator of mental health.
